Ceremony Preparation
Not sure how to prepare for ceremony? Need guidance to ensure you’re fully ready? Take a moment to review our Ceremony Preparation guidelines for a smooth and meaningful experience.
Preparation (at least one week before and at least one week after): The Dieta, Intention Setting, and Integration/Embodiment Practice Development.
1. Dieta – Explain the traditional guidelines, like avoiding certain foods (salt, sugar, spicy foods, alcohol, caffeine, processed foods, etc.), abstaining from sexual activity, and eating clean, plant-based meals. You might also want to touch on why these restrictions matter energetically and physically.
2.Intention Setting – Guide readers on how to approach this process, emphasizing clarity, surrender, and openness. You could offer journaling prompts, meditation techniques, or other practices to help refine their intentions.
3. Integration Practice Development – A simple starting practice is to begin the daily practice of ritual cleansing and sealing yourself with some smudging/flower bath sprays while meditating on your healing intentions for a few minutes. Commit to creating stillness and mindfulness throughout the day to make space for divine intuition and your higher self to communicate with you before, during, and after ceremony. Ceremony is just the beginning of healing, and the integration of the divine wisdom and understanding gained during Ceremony requires continued dedication to your personal Spiritual practice (returning to the Medicine in your heart) to anchor the healing and transformation into your daily life.
